APIs and Tablets are coated to prevent bitter taste, improve stability or modify the release of a drug. Regardless of why they are applied, or whether the process takes place in a coating pan or a fluidized bed granulator, these functional coatings can be difficult to remove from equipment surfaces.
Our innovative chemistries make cleaning easier, and help minimize scrubbing. In some cases, our formulated detergents are simply sprayed on, left to sit for 10-15 minutes, then sprayed off. Baths are a convenient Clean-Out-Of-Place (COP) option. Soiled equipment is immersed and left to soak, and an operator easily removes the remaining residue. We also create innovative chemistries for Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems that come standard with much of today’s new equipment.
We have strong alliances with many of the leading manufacturers of process equipment, which has resulted in an understanding of the soil deposition and the cleaning mechanisms that come standard with the equipment. We leverage this knowledge in the determination of the critical process parameters (T.A.C.T.) needed to affect a clean surface when used in conjunction with one of our formulated detergents.
Dober’s powerful and accurate Application Cleaning Methodology (ACM) studies can help you effectively and efficiently clean your tanks to required specifications. We’ve created an ACM Submission Form to help you get started. Simply tell us about your soil and process, and mail it to us with a small residue sample and your Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
Next, our chemists use the critical cleaning process parameters of time, action, concentration and temperature, or T.A.C.T., to find an ideal solution. They’ll either identify an existing cleaning agent from our comprehensive line of cGMP Chematic® detergents, or create custom formulations and cleaning recommendations—flexibility you won’t always find from our competitors.
Results are presented in an easy-to-understand report, as well as a WebEx presentation during which our chemists provide you with the graphic evidence of the cleaning improvements we have achieved. The chemists who performed your testing will be available for consultation during and after their research to assist you in implementing our recommendations.
Since laboratory simulations don’t always simulate field conditions, we conduct testing using full-scale Clean-In-Place (CIP) and Clean-Out-Of-Place (COP) equipment at our state-of-the-art Innovation and Technology Center. Or we can visit your facilities for real-world trials conducted with the assistance of our team.
Dober works closely with leading production and cleaning equipment manufacturers, so you can be sure that our products are designed to work with your equipment.
Finally, we offer a wide range of validation services, and we’ll support you every step of the way. For example, we can help you with creating, auditing, reviewing and/or updating cleaning validation policies, master plans, standard operating procedures, product and equipment grouping strategies, limits, strategies for setting effective limits, customized training and more.
Using our Validation Acceleration Strategy (VAS), we’ll ensure that you have all necessary information and documentation.
